• Operations/Commercial - Permanent Part-time 24-40 hrs/fortnight
• Goods Receiving – Permanent Part-time 60hrs/fortnight

• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
Team vision ( title) About this work area
Team vision (text) As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operations/ Commercial:
• Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting area that meets food safety standards and supports a positive customer experience.
• Preparing, cooking and serving food while following food safety guidelines, production levels and waste control processes.
• Supporting restaurant cleanliness through tasks such as clearing tables, wiping surfaces, stocktaking and dishwashing.
• Providing friendly customer service, including active selling, cash handling and operating kitchen equipment such as ovens and fryers.

Goods Receiving:
• Accurately managing incoming deliveries, with priority given to perishable and frozen products, following all food safety requirements.
• Keeping the receiving area clean, organised and compliant, while completing required paperwork and system entries.
• Working effectively with the team to coordinate delivery schedules, solve problems and maintain smooth daily operations.
• Using safe manual handling practices and maintaining accountability when moving, storing and rotating stock.
• Applying strong attention to detail, time management and basic numeracy to support accurate documentation and efficient workflow.

• Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
• Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
• Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
• Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
