Additional Information:
• This role is Permanent Part-time, 50hrs/fortnight.
• Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday daytime and evening shift availability (8:00am-10:00pm) is required for this role. You will also need the availability to work a rotating roster across the week, and three out of four weekends (both Saturday & Sunday).

As Sales Co-worker in the Self-Serve Warehouse, your responsibilities will include:
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and confidently recommend the IKEA range
• Prepare and replenish warehouse sales areas using pallet jacks, lifting techniques, and other manual handling equipment.
• Become an IKEA product and service expert, learning features, benefits, and using IT systems to book services and manage orders.
• Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
• Assemble IKEA products following instructions to ensure safety and full functionality.
• Work closely with your team and other departments to build an inclusive, collaborative environment.

• Passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product and service range features and benefits with customers.
• Prioritise safe work practices and are comfortable with regular manual handling and physical tasks.
• Highly active and physically capable, able to stand for up to 8-10 hours per-shift and walk approximately 15,000 steps per day in a busy retail environment.
• A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you can understand the customer's needs and build strong relationships.
• An authentic approach in actively selling and self-motivated to meeting sales and warehouse efficiency targets.
• A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, always with the customer in mind.
• Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range, tools, and systems.
• Passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product and service range features and benefits with customers.
