Additional information:
• This role is a Permanent Full-time position (76 hours per fortnight)
• Applications close Friday 5 June 2026
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

Team vision (text) As an IKEA Food Team Leader, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee Daily Food Operations
• Ensure food preparation, stock levels, cleanliness, and service standards meet IKEA requirements.
• Maintaining IKEA Quality and Food Safety Standards, producing and dating food according to specifications complying with HACCP standards and ensuring compliance training is kept up to date throughout the team as well as ensuring daily operational routines and actions are implemented.
• Monitor workflow to maintain efficient customer service during busy periods.
• Lead, develop and coach your team of co-workers to ensure they are given the necessary support, training and mentoring so they can provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive team environment.

Let´s connect As an IKEA Food Team Leader you are or you have:
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in hospitality, food service, or retail.
• Ability to delegate tasks and manage team performance.
• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
• Experience managing daily operations, stock levels, and reducing waste.
• Able to stay calm and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about food and motivating your team to deliver great service.
• Work closely with team members to ensure a customer-focused approach.
• Lead by example, supporting and coaching others to grow professionally.
• Communicate effectively with people at all levels to achieve strong results.
