Join our team at IKEA Hammersmith, where you'll play a key role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Assistant, this role is all about ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, helping our customers access what they need with ease.


WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 18th April 2026.
• Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour.
• Working hours will be 30 hours per week over 5 days, including day shift, evenings and 3 in 4 weekends.
• Shifts will range from 6:00 - 22:00.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Retail sales experience with a solid background in retail foundations, sales and customer service is preferred, but not essential.
• A positive approach, enjoy handling various tasks, and are motivated to be part of the team and can work without supervision.
• A customer first mindset and enjoy the versatility of working in a different area each day, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
• Computer literacy skills and are able to work with technology.
• You can prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available, with great attention to detail.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the best solutions for their life at home.
• You are interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers.
• You support enhancing sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
