As the Digital Transformation Lead (Country Digital Market Leader) at IKEA Australia & New Zealand, you will guide and execute market-level digitalisation, seamlessly integrating digital capabilities into daily operations. You will collaborate closely with the Market Manager/s and units’ management teams to support and coordinate the digital agenda, maximising business value. This role is crucial in fostering a global environment where Ingka’s digitalisation capabilities and culture thrive across countries. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Acting as a Digital Business Partner to the Market Manager and unit’s management team, ensuring value realisation by leading market digitalisation efforts and delivering tactical implementations aligned with business needs to secure a future-proof digital market.
• Supporting the building of local competence and performance in digital by setting relevant goals collaboratively with market management and creating a robust digital network within the market to accelerate digitalisation.
•Driving the digital experience at the market level for both co-workers and customers, leveraging data insights. You will work with the Business Navigation Manager and Country Digital Operations leader to secure the correct budget framework to consciously improve our digital experience.
• Working closely within a networked organisation across the Ingka world, collaborating with other Digital Market Leaders to share best practices, success stories, and learnings to help our entire community strive for excellence.

Your expertise in digital systems allows you to understand how technology impacts the business, coupled with a proven ability to deliver digital projects and manage planning effectively. You possess good knowledge of leading change processes at all organisational levels and are adept at continuous improvement within the omni-retail business. Your understanding of consumer, customer, and co-worker needs is comprehensive, complemented by good knowledge of budget and service management. You demonstrate a strong ability to lead in complex, ever-changing landscapes with multiple priorities, always keeping the business, co-worker, and customer at heart. With excellent communication and strong people skills, you excel at building relationships, influencing, and inspiring leaders and co-workers. You can effectively drive positive change to achieve business goals, approach digitalisation holistically to link it to value creation, and skilfully translate technical language into business language to foster understanding and motivate teams towards common goals. To be considered for this role you will have:
• A university degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in the omni-retail business.
• Proven experience in driving business improvements through digitalisation.
Additional information:
• Permanent, full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
• The location for the role is Service Office, Tempe NSW, with a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.
• Internal role title is Country Digital Market Leader.
• If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a national police check.
